The New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission (NMISC) is looking to fill the position of Deputy Director/Water Resources Manager II. This position assists the NMISC Director in supervising the NMISC’s bureau chiefs, supporting team-building efforts agency-wide, and further development of technical and institutional capabilities. Work will include: development of staff recommendations for Commission consideration; ensuring successful staff coordination related to Commission meetings; strategic planning; supporting presentations to and coordination with legislative committees and the New Mexico congressional delegation; and ongoing reporting and coordination with Governor’s office. It will also assist the Director in administrative activities including financial management oversight, group member performance appraisals, salary management, and human resources issues.
