On November 19, 2025, the Interstate Council on Water Policy (ICWP) and WSWC jointly hosted a webinar on Water Workforce Development: Insights, Strategies, and Solutions. The event brought together experts from the public, private, and academic sectors. Panelists and participants explored various approaches to hiring and recruitment, aging workforce concerns, the need to attract qualified technical candidates, interdisciplinary pathways into water careers, and other workforce development strategies.
ICWP and WSWC will host a follow-up discussion-based workshop on January 29 at 12pm MST.
