The Western States Water Council, California Department of Water Resources and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are holding a workshop on April 29, 2016 in College Park, Maryland. The purpose of the workshop is to address opportunities for and challenges towards advancing NOAA research and modeling to improve predictive capabilities with respect to sub-seasonal to seasonal precipitation forecasting for western water management.
This workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. and adjourn around 3:30 p.m., and is being held in the Center for Weather and Climate Prediction, located at 5830 University Research Ct, College Park, Maryland.
