Jessica Reimer, Policy Analyst

Jessica joined the WSWC staff in early 2020 and was quickly immersed in the world of western water. She has a broad background in environmental policy and science, ranging from marine conservation to air quality and climate, and has experience working at international to local scales.

Having grown up in Utah, she knows the critical importance of water for both people and nature and is excited for the opportunity to work across the Council’s states on the myriad complex water issues facing the West. Jessica holds a BS in biology and environmental science from Santa Clara University and a MS in Integrative Biology from Oregon State University. In addition, she has training in facilitation and building collaborative processes through the Environmental Dispute Resolution Program at the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney Law School.
