Ryan James, Data Analyst, Hydroinformatics Specialist

Ryan joined the council the Fall of 2019 as an Intern, mapping out state water information and data terminology.  At the start of January 2020, he joined full time as the council’s Data Analyst / Hydroinformatics Specialist for the development of the Water Data Exchange (WaDE) system. 

Ryan has a Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering with an emphasis on Hydroinformatics from Utah State University.  He specialized in data management and believes in the power of good technology and access to clean data when it comes to making informed decisions on water.
