Water Information and Data Subcommittee (WIDS) Summer Meeting – August 2021

Meeting Summary
The meeting was attended by 40 experts on water and data including guests from the Interstate Council on Water Policy (ICWP) Water Data & Science Committee. The meeting focused on sharing updates about the WaDE Program and a guest presentation by Justin Huntington about the upcoming OpenET project release and then the proposed integration with WaDE. 

Action Items

• Adel will send a poll for a third WIDS Committee Meeting in October.
• Adel will send invitations for focus groups to refine WaDE use cases and how WaDE can help the states.
• Adel to share updated on the OpenET and WaDE integration proposal to NASA
• The WIDS members will send any comments, questions, or concerns to Adel via email or through Discords
