Many water managers recognize the value of NASA capabilities for decision support, but they find it challenging to use the data operationally. Water managers sometimes may also lack the technical resources needed to access, process, or analyze the information for decision making.
WestFAST is working with NASA and their Western Water Applications Office to bring together NASA scientists with partners from federal and state agencies that have experience with technology transfer to identify best practices to streamline the technology transfer process.
