Building and maintaining water infrastructure across the United States is a complex undertaking requiring state, federal, tribal, local, and private resources. The Federal Government has a vast array of programs that provide water infrastructure technical and funding assistance to a broad range of entities. Supporting-program targets and scope can, however, be confusing and access to multiple programs can appear complex to state planners. WestFAST is working with Federal partners and the Western State Water Council to facilitate improvement in agency partnering to leverage funding and efficiencies, and cross-agency collaboration on key Western State infrastructure issues and potential projects.
