WOTUS regional approach pre-workshop 1: Regional classification schemes

Western States Water Council is hosting a series of workshops over the summer to further explore technical and policy elements of a regional approach to Waters of the United States (WOTUS) definitions.

This first pre-workshop (virtual) will focus on regional classification schemes that could be applied to WOTUS determinations. A second pre-workshop (virtual) will be held on July 11 to discuss operational aspects of regional approaches to WOTUS. Both pre-workshops are intended to be technical in nature to provide input to a policy focused discussion at the WOTUS workshop hosted with the summer Council meeting in August. The output of both pre-workshops will be a technical white paper.
